Cut Bank, Montana and Surrounding Area
Wyoming is surrounded by the following states: South Dakota, Montana, Idaho, Utah, Colorado
and Nebraska most of which are sparsely populated even today. According to Census records our population
compared to the rest of the United States is sparse and ranked
accordingly: Wyoming 50
th,
South Dakota 46
th, Montana 44
th, Idaho 39
th
and Nebraska 38
th. Towns are
relatively small with a lot of open country in between them. The people who populated this country were
trappers, miners, ranchers, farmers and the Native Americans who have been here
for hundreds of years. The terrain
varies from desert to plains to tall mountains, providing many choices for
recreation and vacation.
I only mention the foregoing because Cut Bank, Montana is a
small town, but is surrounded by beautiful country and has a lot of history
that was instrumental in the development of our great nation.
