GOLD!!!

The magic word that has caused men to leave loved ones; sell everything they own in search of the gold fields. They traveled great distances, taking many chances, some resulting in death, all in the hope of instant wealth. This month we are going to take a look at 2 of the richest gold mines in the state of Colorado. They are located between Colorado Springs and Pikes Peak and include crossing the continental divide.

The Capital of the state of Colorado has a gold dome and part of the reason it does is because of all the gold taken out of the ground in Colorado.
