The Mammoth Site Museum

The southwest corner of South Dakota has many fantastic sites in the area including the Black Hills, Mount Rushmore, and the Rock Carving of Crazy Horse and other wonderful areas. We will eventually furnish more info on all of these sites, but this month we are looking at Hot Springs, South Dakota.

The Mammoth Site Museum is located at Hot Springs, South Dakota. The Site was preserved and today is the world's largest Columbian mammoth exhibit and research center for Pleistocene studies.

When you check the first web link, make sure you check out the “Black Hills Travel Links” for other side trips in the immediate area.
