RAWLINS, WYOMING
Rawlins, Wyoming is a small town that survived after the
railroad pushed west. There were
several ranches in the area running sheep and beef, which were shipped back
east from the Rawlins railhead.
Petroleum and coal is abundant in the area, and in later years has been
explored. Rawlins is located astraddle
the continental divide.
