STAGE COACH TRAILS AND ACCOMMODATIONS OF WYOMING
Several trails and many post office facilities existed primarily
in the northern part of Wyoming and Colorado before the railroads were even
built. Even after the railroads were completed, stage coaches and freight
haulers still had to haul people, mail and freight to those areas of the state
that were too far from the railroads.
I hear of so many people today, who complain about
security, lousy transportation connections and accommodations, but after
reading this narration of the good old days, I think I’ll forget the “good” old
days and be quite contented with the way things are now.
