Last month AristaTek published an article on chlorine spills.  AristaTek posed the question, are the models predicting release of a toxic gas and resulting dispersion any good?  AristaTek examined a popular pool evaporation model used in ALOHA and in the PEAC tool and compared the chlorine evaporation rate as measured by experimental test with model predictions.
