Outside Sales Representative – East Coast Area
Responsibilities:
- With training, must be able to learn and master AristaTek’s PEAC software product.
- Continually remain current with the HazMat and First Responder market.
- Give live and teleconference product demonstrations.
- Carefully follow-up prospects through the sales cycle utilizing company selected Customer Records Management program (ACT!).
- In addition to direct sales, the desired candidate must be able to recognize, develop and promote third-party distribution opportunities.
- Travel, as needed, to prospect sites, trade shows and sales conferences.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will be a hard-nosed, disciplined, professional with the sales and entrepreneurial drive to succeed as well as possess the following experience, skills, abilities and attributes:
- Definable track record of selling complex software solutions to the Fire/First Responder community.
- Prior HazMat or CBRNE experience, a BIG plus.
- Comfortable with telephone contact as primary prospecting approach and cold calling lead generation.
- Personable, well spoken and have good communication skills.
- Well organized, with good follow-up and follow-through skills.
- Experienced and successful in a telecommuting environment; This is a remote position, with location preference on the East Coast or within 50 miles of a major metropolitan area
- Highly disciplined, professional and able to drive the development of new business opportunities within above stated market
